BEAVER CAMP
JUNE 28 - JULY 2 SUNDAY PM-THURSDAY PM
This is your invitation to attend Rhema Fellowship’s annual CampMeeting to be held at Beaver Camp, a Christian retreat center located on pristine Beaver Lake in the Adirondack Park. This annual CampMeeting has always been an opportunity to invest time into relationships. First and foremost, dropping our usual busy routines to “come aside” for a time of focusing on our personal relationship with the Lord…..a time to hear His voice afresh and experience His presence in powerful, life changing ways.
Secondly, CampMeeting is about spending unhurried, quality time with people we love and care about. It’s a unique opportunity to be together as a family or extended family. In addition, the casual atmosphere is ideal for becoming better acquainted with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
MORNING DEVOTIONAL TIMES
Everyone is encouraged to use at least a portion of each morning for family devotions, personal Bible study, reflection, prayer walks, etc. There may be an organized teaching/sharing time for teens scheduled on some mornings. There will also be worship team practices starting mid morning on some days.
EVENING MINISTRY TIMES AT 7:00 pm DAILY
All age groups will come together for these times of worship and ministry under the big tent. We will be looking for the Holy Spirit to minister to us through worship and through our guest Minister Ron Bruce. Brother Ron lives in Virginia with his family but travels worldwide ministering in churches and conferences, frequently in countries closed to the Gospel. Brother Ron is a graduate of Rhema Bible College and the Lord has anointed him with gifts in teaching the Word of God, prophetic ministry and the impartation of Spiritual gifts.
TEEN RECREATION FOR GRADES 7 AND UP (AGES 13-19)
See the Daily Schedule for the special supervised teen activities that will be scheduled throughout the week such as sand volleyball tournaments, hikes to waterfalls for swimming, river rock sliding, canoe trips, rock climbing and rapelling, capture the flag and group games, challenge course, drama and worship participation, etc. Come expecting to have the time of your life with God and great new friends. There is no charge for these activities except the challenge course.
RECREATION OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE
Beaver Camp is designed and equipped for wholesome fun for all ages. Your registration fees cover use all facilities and activities except the challenge course. Options include: A safe sand beach with roped areas, a raft, certified lifeguards, an aqua jump, 21 canoes, 5 sailboats, 3 paddleboats, 4 ride atop kayaks and rowboats, lake and river canoe trips, ball court, tetherballs, horizontal climbing wall, Frisbee golf, and hiking trails. Fishing species include: pickerel, bass, perch, sunfish and bullheads. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES
1. Smoking is not permitted in any buildings.
2, Pets are discouraged and must be kept on a leash and are not permitted in buildings or on the beach.
3. Privately owned power boats can be launched at camp. However, to maintain the peaceful setting on Beaver Lake, water skiing, tubing and jet skis are not allowed during CampMeeting week.
4. Alcoholic beverages, fireworks and firearms are not allowed on the grounds.
5. Fires are allowed in designated areas only.
6. You are welcome to bring a camp stove or gas grill but they must be kept 10 feet from any building. A public gas grill will be available on the main campground for your convenience.
ITEMS FOR SALE AT THE CAMP STORE
Firewood, soda by the cup, snacks, candy, sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps, etc. (only open twice daily)
REGISTRATION PROCESS
The process is started by filling out this registration form which you will keep. Reservations will only be taken by telephone. After completing all forms below please call our registrar, Heidi Honey, at 315-376-7693 between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
